"Cara was suggested to us by our daughters work colleague, when they were discussing the behaviour issues we were starting to experience with our 3 yr old GSD/Mal. These issues were starting to affecting our confidence and made us question what we had done and how we could manage her going forward. It became clear to Cara that while our girl was bright and picked up commands she had a very small 'bucket' and got overloaded very quickly causing her to act up. Cara took her issues on board and set up a specific training plan to tackle them, Cara worked with her daily for 4 weeks focusing on getting her to learn how to self regulate and manage her excitement spikes. We called it a doggy reset Cara is always a phone call/message away and even reached out to us while she was out of the country to check in as we had only started using the new techniques on our own (without her available to visit if needed to provide assistance) for a week before hand. Cara has also needed to take on board my husband's disability and use of a wheelchair to tailor the training he does to enable him to actively train our girl too.
There is still a lot more training needing to be done but with Cara's help and support we already have a different dog - she is alot calmer and this along with the pointers Cara has provided us has caused our personal confidence to increase too. We are looking forward to continuing the improvements with Cara's education and support along the way."
